I have been in practice for 29 years and was one of the first Chiropractic practices to integrate computers into the practice some 25 yrs ago. We started with basic accounting packages using 8” floppy discs and, as the technology improved, advanced to hard drives and management systems. A constant throughout the process has been a challenge with support for both hardware and software issues. The primary problem has not been competency, (although that certainly was an issue from time to time), but reliability. When you depend on your computer to make a living, “24-48 hour callback” doesn’t cut it.

 

I met Boris Jocoy     about five years ago and he has been taking care of my IT needs since. He is reliable, very competent, and will respond quickly to my needs. I recently retired from practice and moved into the real estate and mortgage business. Boris, through his company Tech Brainy Consulting, set me up with a server that allows me to access all of my data from anywhere I have Internet service. This installation included all of the hardware and setup. With his buying power and his research capability he was able to get me outstanding pricing on the necessary hardware and software. As I travel a lot for both business and entertainment, this is an invaluable service. Boris’ bills are very fair in terms of rates and the amount of hours billed to get a job done. He is usually as close as a telephone call or email and he is setup to be able to jump into my computer, from wherever he is at, and do what needs to be done.

 

In addition, he is very helpful in teaching me how to stay up with new software and applications.

My old computer was dying.  Among other things the many noisy fans that pretended to keep it cool were giving out one by one.  This computer was the main source of heat for our home.  I started looking for a new computer.  I looked everywhere and nothing was just right.

 

My neighbor (Ken Bailey) was very pleased with the technician who had worked on his computer.  He gave me the number for Boris Jocoy at Tech Brainy Consulting.  It was a perfect fit.  

 

Boris offered to build me a computer that would work for me.  We emailed a few times back and forth so we were in sync on the project.  We came to the decision that liquid cooling was the way to go for me. 

 

This whole project has been a very positive experience.  Boris kept me advised every step of the way. 

 

When he finished installing the water cooling, Boris  sent me a picture of the computer interior. It is now the desktop on my new computer which is working flawlessly.
